POLICIES/FAQs

Some questions you may have are answered below. Please feel free to discuss any further queries or concerns during your initial consultation. 

1.

I am a professional massage therapist and I provide massage therapy treatments only. I previously made a "men by referral-only" rule but I have since changed my stance and am welcoming of all people. I will refuse service if there is any indication of sexual harassment or abuse. I do however provide a lovely, relaxing massage which I hope will leave you feeling happy!

Refunds are available in exceptional circumstances only. I provide a professional service and will always endeavour to do the right thing. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your treatment, I am more than happy to discuss your options with you. 

5.

I aim to offer treatment to absolutely everyone, however there are certain conditions which may limit your treatment options (for example; I am unable to massage broken or fractured bones). Please be as honest as possible during your initial consultation so that I can provide the best treatment possible.

7.

Your personal details are digitally stored with high standards of security and encryption. Every session is completely confidential, however as a therapist I have a duty of care and if I am absolutely certain that it is required I may pass on, with your consent, medical details to your GP or local authorities in cases of abuse.

9.

A deposit of 20% is required for all party or corporate packages, retreats and large workshops. You can send this via bank transfer, PayPal, or cheque. You will then receive an invoice for the remaining funds which must be paid at least a week prior to the event. Please contact me if you have any exceptional circumstances which may delay your payment.

2.

I will not tolerate any form of abuse, harassment or bullying and I reserve the right to refuse service for any reason. I believe in respect and kindness, which must work mutually. You are welcomed to vent your frustrations to me but you are not welcomed to take out your frustrations on me!

4.

There are no policies specific for COVID-19, however I will refuse service for all contagious colds, flus or skin diseases (including verrucae). You are welcomed to rebook for when your illness has cleared, and I am more than happy to provide you with self-massage techniques for clearing your sinuses.

6.

My certificates of qualifications and insurance policy are kept in my home and copies can be provided should you require. You can also verify my massage qualification here: New Skills Academy.

8.

You may cancel or amend your appointment at least 24 hours prior, otherwise you may incur a £20 cancellation fee. I will, however, honour last-minute cancellations or amendments which are due to any flus, colds, viruses, or other exceptional circumstances. 

10.

I am a human being and I genuinely care for other people so if you are experiencing any kind of mental crisis please reach out and I can help you bring yourself back to a state of calm as well as being a listening ear to your experience. You are not alone, you are not insane, you are human. My number & email are on my Contact page - this "service" is totally free of charge and there is no time limit for how long you need to talk for. Take a breath, it will be ok!
